This contemporary lapis azuli and turquoise necklace is handcrafted by Tribal Kuchi artisans living in Peshawar along the Afghan border. This region is famous for its Lapis azuli - a stone of a deep Blue hue with flecks of sparkling feldspar, looking like stars in the night sky.

The Kuchis are a nomadic group of people living and travelling throughout Central Asia for centuries. Kuchi jewelry is renowned for its vibrant energy, exuberant designs, and flamboyant spirit. These pieces are handmade by artisans who add their own flavor so no two pieces are the exact. Metals used are mixed metals.
