The Vinadi - Vintage Silk Saree Shorts - Up-Cycled Collection

Our favorite creative endeavor is to up-cycle and make new creations out of exciting and stunning textiles that were otherwise discarded or forgotten. What we have focused alot this year is using vintage Sarees to make new clothing items such as pants, shorts and skirts. Soon, we are making tops and dresses.

These Vinadi shorts are the first we have made, the fabric is stunning. All silk with satin loom, it is a very luxurious textile and I love how we made the loom the front center piece and the more sheer silk the back (not too sheer, you won’t see your bum!) 

This breathable fabric is comfortable and chic. We have made an elastic waste in the back for it to fit perfectly on any smaller frame.

It’s a gorgeous pair of shorts, I love the idea of wearing with a simple white tee. You choose how to style it, we would love to see!
