Absolutely spectacular Native American studs. With piercing blue turquoise enveloped in scalloped silver made by Alvinia Quam of the Zuni tribe in New Mexico.

"The Zuni are Native American Pueblos People Nation native to the Zuni River valley. The Zuni people today are recognized as the Zuni Tribe of the Zuni Reservation, New Mexico, and most live in the pueblo of Zuni on the Zuni River in western New Mexico, USA.

The Zuni are known for their fine lapidary work. Zuni jewelers set hand-cut turquoise and other stones in silver. Today jewelry-making thrives as an art form among the Zuni. Many Zuni have become master stone-cutters."

Alvina Quam is the Daughter of famous Zuni silversmith Alice Quam and is notable in her own right. Her jewelry is highly respected and sought after, she is of the Zuni tribe in New Mexico. Her craftsmanship is impeccable and her pieces are of the highest quality.

Enjoy the simplicity of these studs with their radiant color. Great for everyday wear.
