The Bobo Pant - Vintage Silk Saree - Lanka Tropicana 

Our favorite creative endeavor is to up-cycle and make new creations out of exciting and stunning textiles that were otherwise discarded or forgotten.

What we have focused alot this year is using vintage sarees, sourced here from Sri Lanka.
Using these beautiful silk designed sarees we make exquisite items such as pants, shorts, skirts, dresses, tops and just about anything you can think of. The end result is astounding such as these absolutely gorgeous pants. 

The iconic Bobo pant are the first we have made, the fabric is eye-catching. All silk with metallic shimmer and detailed embroidery, it is a very luxurious textile and I love how spectacular the colors are. They remind me of the breathtaking sunsets of Sri Lanka.

The fabric is so chic, it is a bit heavy silk. We have made an elastic waste in the back for it to fit perfectly on a medium sized frame.

Please note that this is made from vintage materials and any inconsistencies in the fabric are due to the nature of the vintage piece from wear and age. It only adds to the history and integrity of the garment.
