Recently we have made a new artisan connection with our hand embroidery partner Shakira. She is not only an awesome embroiderer, but also a very awesome human being. She teaches her craft to other women and does a segment on the Sri Lankan news channel on how to hand embroider at home, she is quite a busy lady but it’s clear this is her passion.
She is so talented she can make anything that pleases our creative whims.

We took this simple yet classy skirt and asked her to hand embroider dainty flowers all over the front and band with these gorgeous 3D flowers.
