Diary of a 35 year old boss bitch!

  When we think of a 35 year old woman we think of either two scenarios; married woman living in the suburbs, happy with 2.5 children, living a normal life with a normal job. Then we think of the Sex and The City/Bridget Jones' Diary woman. She, in her mid thirties is still partying, still pursuing her dreams but is also in the desperate quest for love all while feeling inadequate because she hasn't found it yet.

But who wrote the rule book on what it means to be 35? What if doing whatever the hell you want at any age is the answer? What if pursuing  to conquer your dreams, desires and to make a difference in the world is exactly what you are supposed to be doing at 35?

 I always felt that I was supposed to feel like an adult at this age, wasn't I supposed to be married with kids and go by what society told me I was to be at this age? What am I doing wrong?

You’ll learn, as you get older, that rules are made to be broken.

Be bold enough to live life on your terms, and never, ever apologize for it. Be your own boss. Don’t settle for less and don’t take shit from anyone. Go against the grain, refuse to conform, take the road less traveled instead of the well-beaten path. Laugh in the face of adversity, and leap before you look. Dance as though EVERYBODY can go fuck themselves. March to the beat of your own drum. And stubbornly refuse to fit in because honey this is not a dress rehearsal!!!
