The Fleetwood - Up-Cycled Vintage Denim Jacket With Eclectic Textiles
A GAP circa 2004 denim jacket in size Large up-cycled to fabulosity with our added touches of sourced vintage tribal patches.
Super comfy and easy to wear denim revamped with fashion scraps and vintage or reused materials to create something new from something discarded, this is zero-waste, a new era in fashion.
Let me explain a little about the added textile work that makes our personal touch to this item. The centerpiece on the back is a hand beaded and mirror appliqué vintage Afghan panel originally from a dress or jacket from the 1970s that was sourced in Pakistan by Afghan refugees.
The bottom accent is an exquisite vintage authentic silk fringe from Turkmenistan, these colors go beautifully with the rest of jacket and adds a lot of fun while you walk.
The front panels has bright textiles of African print, glossy cotton in vibrant colors.
Finally, a bit of Hand embroidery accent on the pockets by Shakira, our Sri Lankan artisan embroiderer.
Each piece brought together makes for a spectacular work of wearable art.
