Recently we have made a new artisan connection with our hand embroidery partner Shakira. She is not only an awesome embroiderer, but also a very awesome human being. She teaches her craft to other women and does a segment on the Sri Lankan news channel on how to hand embroider at home, she is quite a busy lady but it’s clear this is her passion.
She is so talented she can make anything that pleases our creative whims.

This is an adorable, stylish flared mini-skirt originally from American Apparel from NYC. Black denim looks incredible with colorful embroidered flowers on the hem done by Shakira. The result is a lovely new skirt with personality.
