This is a piece I have made for myself and loved it so much we made more.
As part of our ‘Lanka Tropicana Collection’, it fits well with the colors and the inspiration for the collection, although this piece is up-cycled from a deconstructed vintage Afghan dress it is still made in Sri Lanka. 

What makes this skirt so unique is the intricate design of inlay and embroidery on the front, while the back is is authentic Sri Lankan tie dye batik done by our local artisan Shihani.  

The colors are happy that give instant good vibrations. 
I love this skirt, the personality is so on point.

Front: Sleeve from a deconstructed vintage Afghan dress, sourced by refugees in Pakistan.

Back: Sri Lankan tie dye cotton.

Put together in Sri Lanka by our amazing seamstress. 
Side zipper. Wash gentle cycle inside out. 

Please note that this is made from vintage materials and any inconsistencies in the fabric are due to the nature of the vintage piece from wear and age. It only adds to the history and integrity of the garment.
