This ox horn jewelry is handmade by artisans in India, ethically sourced horns from cows that die naturally. Cows are thought of as mythical and spiritual beings and revered as sacred in Hinduism, therefore most states prohibit cow slaughter.
There are over 1 million cows out on the loose in most states, when they die their carcasses, bonesVpo and horns are not wasted.
Each piece is different in color as there are variations in the nature of the horn. They are also lightweight, contrary to what one might believe, they are surprisingly almost weightless.
