This collection of vintage Afghan stone & silver rings came from our artisan in Peshawar, Pakistan. An Afghan refugee that has collected vintage jewelry over many years.
We inspect each item to make repairs, add missing gems and polish them to their original shiny appearance.

This ring has a beautiful, sparkling goldstone encased in silver. Goldstone is a man-made, sparkling glass often mistaken for a natural gemstone. It's made by melting glass with metal oxides, like copper, cobalt, or chromium, which creates tiny, reflective particles that give it its shimmering appearance. Goldstone is known for its distinct colors, including orange-brown (from copper), blue (from cobalt), and green (from chromium).
